- Yes, it feels quite strange witnessing Elizabeth Bennett having spontaneous "hate sex" with Mr. Darcy, but
- the transfer of the characters' personalities into the 21. century, especially those of Mrs. Bennett, Jane, Charlotte and Lydia, has been admirably done.
- The mix of unconditional love, shame and exasperated distress Liz feels for her sisters and mother and the defeat she experiences when faced with her father's complacent passivity are unmistakably there, too.

This was a lot of fun and a great escape from distressing news. Don't think too much about it or the connection to Pride and Prejudice will fall apart, but it held my interest while I was reading. I may even read another in the series.
