magical realism.
Unique, mesmerizing, kept me guessing. I loved it!
I had a hard time getting into this book. I thought the plot sounded really neat but the story itself was very slow. I also didn't really like the writing style. I did however, like all the characters. My favorite being Priscilla (Petey), while I liked them I was bored and confused by the book. But it was an interesting read for sure.

Okay. Okay. I KNOW this is amazing. I KNOW it deserves any awards it gets this season. But this made me realize how much I dislike magical realism and it couldn't hold my interest at all.
