Reports of increasing occurrence have been received across Costa Rica of chicken-size lizard attacks infants and children and the elderly in their beds. I can’t believe it took me so long to read this book but I finally got around to it. I really enjoyed this book. I liked the characters and the suspense. Even though I already saw the movie, there were enough differences with the book that kept me on the edge of my seat. I was impressed with the science in the book. Although some of it was dated (the book was released in 1990) it was very detailed and realistic.
