I enjoyed this a lot more the second time around. It probably has a lot to do with the difference in expectations between the two times I read this.
This time I was aware that this would be very much character driven and I really enjoyed it.
3.5

I enjoyed this book which i listened to on audio. The narrator was excellent and the narrative really easy to follow. I felt the storyline was reasonably novel involving children who are put into boarding school because of their insistence of having travelled into other dimensions. A spate of murders has everyone at the boarding school suspecting the latest admission - Nancy - but are they correct?. I would read more of this series.
Not entirely what I was expecting, but it's an intriguing read all the same. I wouldn't say it was enjoyable, but I definitely wanted to know more and flew through the ending to find out what happened. I'll continue the series in the future.

I loved this story and everybody's individual tales of their doors/homes. This gave me some Miss Peregrine's home for peculiar children vibes but for older teenagers. Can't wait to continue on.
