It has a very, very happy ending. Made me cry.
I liked this book. There are some things that make me like it less than 5 or even 4 stars, but I'm a little picky when it comes to such details. Don't let that stop you from reading this book :-D

I did enjoy this book. The author was a masterful storyteller and it was a fun read. The plot was very predictable in a comforting way. But about halfway through I got a feeling that I had seen the movie years ago. I checked the copyright and it was obvious that I hadn't seen this book as a movie. The more I read the more it ended up reminded me of two movies weaved together. The story is still unique and delightful but that feeling sort of diminished it for me.
