thought-provoking
This is my all time favourite book. everytime i read it i see something new. Gaarder's weaving of a philosophical education into an almost fairy-tale like story is masterful. As i watch my granddaughter grow i see again that "climbing up the rabbits hairs" he describes early on in the book. I have bought 2 copies as i lent one to a friend and never got it back. whilst his other books are good none of them live up to this one
