let's face it: this is a true crime book. it's a really engaging true crime book...but it's still pretty much just a true crime book, regardless of how many internet-affiliated bells & whistles cullen has developed. i enjoyed the hell out of this book, it really captured my attention...but so did under the banner of heaven by jon krakauer (also true crime that people seem to think is something more than that). & this book does have its flaws: it's incredibly repetitive, the chronology is all ove

This was a great book, describing the motives and debunking a lot of myths and rumors from that tragic day. But it was very difficult to read. And completely unintentional that I finished it on the 12th anniversary of the massacre.
And so it goes day by day. On and on and on. Are folks gettin' numb to school, mall etc. etc. shootings? This book chronicles in agonizing detail, a bit redundant for me, the killings and the lead up to them etc. Now, today, 2018 the country is so divided on gun control that there seems there will never be compromise. In future I would much rather read a book that addresses possible solutions to the ever increasing killings. There are many sources, folks that carry the onus. Initially Igave this
