Pulitzer Prize winning book
It took me a couple days to sit down and write this review because I wasn't sure what to say. The writing was beautiful and sad. I loved the narrative device of being written by a grown man looking back on his adolescence and the events that led to the end of his childhood. I loved how even as grown men, the narrator is still as perplexed by women, not realizing that we are just as perplexed about men. Even though the story involves sex, underage drinkin ...more
