I really enjoyed this fun story that turns the normal story about monsters and villains on its head. Nimona is a wonderful character.

I have had bad luck with graphic novels and comics in the past. I start them and since you have to read so many others to understand what is going on in the one you are reading even though it is a new story. Well I tried lumberjanes and loved it so I figured I would give Noelle Stevenson another try. I picked up Nimona. It is about a girl/shapeshifter that starts working for a villian. Nimona! Is rocking and scary character, loved her. She and Ballister are an interesting team. I love how they would have little misfits. So cute! Comical parts, throughout and heart touching little parts. Very well put together for a graphic novel comic. Hope to maybe read more about these characters in future. If more gets written. Awesome job Noelle Stevenson!

I only just started reading a few graphic novels just to see if I liked them or not and I actually did. Nimona made me want to see what happens to the characters. I had guessed one part of the plot and was happy when it actually happened. Not sure if I will keep up with reading many of this style of book but it was a fun change from the regular book.

Cute and fiesty heroine. It was such a fun book to read and the art was an interesting new style for me. I loved the backstory for Ballister and Goldenloin! It would be nice to see where everyone ends up in another volume. Looking forward to the big screen adaptation.
