Well I still love Harry Potter. The Sorcerer's Stone is not my favorite Harry Potter book but I still enjoy reading it.
Harry Potter is an orphaned boy who doesn't know that he is a wizard until his birthday. Harry is left on his only living relatives steps after his mother and father have been murdered. Harry doesn't learn about how his parents died until he starts receiving letters from no one.
If you love fantasy, magic, and just a great story then you definitely need to read the Harry Potter ...more

Hands down still one of my favorite series.
I have read this book so many times and I love it more and more each time. This is the start of Harry Potter's life. Just reading about Dumbledore leaving Harry at the front door of his aunt and uncles just starts the love of the book.
Harry is mistreated by his aunt, uncle and cousin Dudley. His aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon have vowed to make sure that Harry doesn't turn out to be a freak like his parents. They are muggles that hate the witches and wizards.
