Okay, this is a hard one to rate, but I guess I'd give it 2.5 stars. I just felt like this was so uneven, so the things I liked about it were often overshadowed by the things I didn't like or didn't understand.

SO SO GOOD!!! I was prepared for a slow beginning, where the author slowly built the world and introduced all the characters. It was a little slow going at first but I knew that those booktubers I know and trust said this book was amazing and to give it time. I didn't need to much time for everything to click. Oh man!!! Such an intense book! I loved it!! There was literally so much going on and so many twists and turns! Love it all! I did get a bit confused with character names and places so I wish it had been a bit clearer. Overall cannot wait to start the second book!
