Another in the series I couldn't put down. It's the type of books you can't wait to see how it ends. It's a feel good kind of book, nothing to heavy to read. It's light hearted and so easy to read. Sometimes it just nice to read a book like that. Someone (other then myself) said this book series was a guilty pleasure and I totally get it. I want the next and the next until the whole series is gone. I LOVE all the characters but America and Maxon were so sweet. Moving on the The Heir ...more

Completed this for the third book in a trilogy for the 2015 PopSugar reading challenge (but this has now since expanded to four with a fifth in the works). I thought it was pretty wishy-washy at the end - dramatic circumstances leading to the final declaration and choice. As if we didn't know the ending was coming already and what it would be - especially with this cover. The entire series was very easy to read (or to listen to, in my case), however on the overall, the books were just meah. Felt very drawn out. I think this whole series could have been a duology, if not a stand-alone. Huge chunks of the story can be easily cut and tossed out and nothing will be missed.

Tottally agree that this one ends on a good note. Really happy with how this one played out, except for the sad moments. Love how romantic it is in a more serene way. Beautiful.

I liked it, but I thought the ending was a little too neat. I also really wanted Maxon and America to have a serious conversation about Aspen.
