Heartbreaking in many ways, but this was a great story. Told from the point of view of two women, I enjoyed the present day story of the young 17-year-old more, in the beginning, than the looking back reflection of the older woman, although this story picked up about halfway through.
I read Orphan Train as part of a Goodreads Psychology group book discussion. I rarely give five stars, but this book is definitely worth the five stars. The key to the book for me is I will have an opportunity to have a great discussion of Orphan Train with my kids. That will be a great segue to a wonderful discovery of book reading discussions.

Amazing. From start to finish I was engaged with the characters. I love how the two time lines connect. It's a wonderful book and I highly recommend it.
