Audiobook performed by the author (and a few guest stars)
In general, I’m not a big fan of celebrity memoirs, but I read and loved Tina Fey’s Bossypants, and this one was getting great reviews from friends whose opinions I value, so what the heck, I decided to give it a go.
I could NOT stop listening. Poehler is funny, engaging, self-deprecating, kind, funny, outrageous, honest, funny, intelligent, dynamic and funny.

I listened to this as an audiobook and while I did enjoy it, I didn't find it as funny or interesting as Bossypants or Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me?. It did however make me checkout now my favorite comedy "Parks & Recreation" on Netflix. Till I read this, I didn't remember that she was from MA, just like Mindy Kaling. This book was more honest and from the heart than the other two books though and I did appreciate that.

This was such a fast and brilliant read. I just want to be best friends with Amy Poehler and unfortunately (but fortunately for her) reading this book is as close as I'm going to get.

This was my "female author" #2015ReadingChallenge book. Funny in parts, the book read more like a self help book that I couldn't relate to... Sorry, but Bossypants was better.

What a great book! I only listened to the audio book verson but highly recommend it. Amy Poehler is the narrator along with several celebrity guest readers. Their voices coupled with her story-telling wit and all-out shenaigans brings her story to life. I liked her before this book and I like her so much more after reading this.
