Edith Wharton's The Age of Innocence is listed by Modern Library & the Radcliffe Rival's Top 100 list as one of the "100 Best Books of the 20th century." It is also included on Amazon's list of the "100 Books to Read in a Lifetime."
I won't go into a long summary or critical analysis of the novel, since there are hundreds posted here on Goodreads. I will say, however, that I have read The Age of Innocence at least three times & that the novel gets better with each subsequent read.
