What Members Thought

This book is one of five “modern-day classics” that I pledged to read in 2020. My new year’s resolution actually. This is the first of the five I have read.
I was surprised that it was an easy read. For some reason, I expected it to be dense and hard to get through. Instead, Vonnegut’s conversational stream-of-consciousness writing made for relatively painless reading.
It was OK but feel similar to this as I do to (gasp) Catcher in the Rye — why all the fuss?
