This is the third Erast Fandorin Mystery and is probably the one I have enjoyed the most. On the 15th March, 1878, in Paris, collector Lord Littleby is found dead along with members of his servants and household. There is no sign of injury or struggle, his servants mostly seated around a table, dead. In his hand, Lord Littleby clutches a token from the ship Leviathan, making that Commissioner Gauche, who is investigating, embarks on a voyage.

1878: At the Paris home of Lord Littleby, a known collector of Indian (meaning from India) artifacts & treasures, a gruesome crime has been committed. Seated together around a table, 9 servants were found dead and upstairs, Lord Littleby himself was bludgeoned to death with a heavy object.
