This is a read from the Book Pool in Retro Reads & I tried guys, I really tried but I'm just not vibing with this book at all!
I enjoyed the account when Lupin (what a name!) & Andrew first met, some of this Society Darling's first days living at the vicarage were mildly amusing, but I didn't like Lupin & found her a superficial, often cruel Bright Young Thing, which is always a character type that I have trouble warming to. Lady Lupin is a very kind hearted and completely scatter-brained 'detective'. She did make me laugh though, and I would like to read more of her adventures.
