This is the second mystery featuring Anty Boisjoly and I have to say that I enjoyed it immensely. Our hero is staying with his Aunt Azalea for Christmas. She is a shy and introverted lady, who tends to avoid company and hide in the curtains, much to the dismay of her butler, who longs to have guests and organise parties. As advertised, a mix of Christie and Woodhouse, with a very complicated ending. Lots of humor and quirky characters. Looking forward to the next book.

Five fun stars. This was a cracking book and I love P.J. Fitzsimmons's writing style. It's a very witty and entertaining whodunit which keeps you guessing until the end. Anty Boisjoly is a charming amateur detective. I also love how wintry this book is, it's a real festive read.

This is the right book if you are a fan of Philo Vance or Peter Wimsey. Anty Boisjoly reminded me of those characters and I thoroughly enjoyed this well written whodunit.
