This really did show a dilemma between Brunetti and his wife. Paola. In her demonstration against what was known as "Sex-tours", she takes a hefty stone and smashes the window of a tour shop. She stays there and waits for the police to come. As this is an embarrassment to the two officers, they quickly inform Brunetti so he takes her home. Excellent mystery and characters, though it does start with Brunetti's wife acting, in my opinion, out of character and for no good reason. Once again corruption is front and center.
