Bobby Owen is now working at Scotland Yard, therefore he is in the midst of London. As with any city there are criminal gangs operating. It seems that a burglary has happened and some very valuable jewels have been stolen from one of the very wealthy society. It would seem that one of the gangs had a hand in this crime, but it is also thought that they must have had inside help to locate the position of the jewels. I am glad Bobby returned to London and enjoyed the book though I think the ending is weak. Glad to be done with the mysterious beauty and haunting music of the prior two books.
