If you like a classic mystery with some dry humor, you will probably enjoy this series. 3.5 stars

Good mystery with a unique set up (the body is discovered in a suit of armor) but the real attraction is the author's quiet, dry humor.

Added another star after my reread, by audio this time. Great humor: Sloan explaining to Crosby why he is unlikely to see a griffin and wondering if a knot garden is like a Noh play.
