An excellent entry in the series. Bobby successfully investigates both new and old crimes and does so without showing up his superiors by keeping many of his opinions to himself. His chosen wife acts a lot more sensibly in this book than she did in the prior one and I have more hope for their future happiness. Quite an intricate plot and different from others in the series.
