8/2019 - reread (listened to the audiobook this time, love Patrick Tull’s narration); what a wonderfully satisfying ending- makes me chuckle every time!

Very much enjoyed this story. I had trouble with the start - I suppose it was too many characters for an audiobook. Since I bought as a whispersync, I restarted following along with the ebook for about 1/3 of the book. Then the rest was good. Narrator excellent although I had to increase volume a little.

After reading so much Cleeves/Vera/Shetland I can't quite pull my tastes back to Medieval times. So temporarily DNFing. ...more
