I enjoyed going back to the first Midsomer Murders mystery and listening to it as an audiobook as I'd read the paperback previously - long enough ago to have forgotten most of the plot.
As always with Caroline Graham's books, it's the characters who drive the story which is much richer and has so much more depth than the TV series. I enjoy the TV series but it feels quite light in comparison to the books. ...more
