You've read Winston Graham's Poldark saga, seen both versions of the TV show, so why read this book? I read it partly because reading a book on my Kindle was more acceptable in some places than re-watching the TV series. I enjoyed finding the bits that were deleted from the final airing and the description of the artistic bits that I didn't notice. My next project in my Poldark love is to rewatch the episodes while following along in the script and using the new insight to contribute to the disc
