In early 1815 all of England is relieved peace has come at last. Lord Liverpool wants Ross to go on a little unofficial spying mission to Paris, bringing his family as a cover. Parenting doesn’t end when the children are grown and you see how beautifully Ross and Demelza try to be present to support all of their children’s various needs. Graham also really delves once again into the complexities of grief and loss. H ...more
