There are two other men living up at that ranch. One is a stone-cold killer who takes an instant dislike to Joe. He doesn’t frighten Joe at all. The other man is another story.It had been a couple of years since I had read anything in this series, so I had forgotten that I wasn't always wild about every book in it. I found this one tedious and at times irritating... but in all fairness to the author it may have been the reader, (I listen to the audio version), and not the writing. Compared to most of the previous books...I'd have to say that it's just okay. I will certainly continue with the series.
