2.5 stars rounded up. I picked this book up mainly because there was a lot of hype when it was first published about how young the author was and I've been curious since then if the book was actually any good. The main story is about a boy Eragon who has a dragon hatch for him and he becomes a Dragon Rider. The story itself is fairly run of the mill fantasy material.
