I was always awed with Cssandra Clare's writing but Infernal devices stole my breath away from the very first page in Clockwork angel. I fell in love with the story, with the era, with London and the Shadohunter world all over again but mostly I fell in love with people in this series. Tessa, Jem and Will will always have my heart but so will Gabriel and Gideon, Sophie and Cecily, Charlotte and Henry and of course, Magnus Bane because there is no good book abot the Shadowhunters and Downworlders without our favorite warlock. “Sometimes one must choose whether to be kind or honorable," he said. "Sometimes one cannot be both.” ― Cassandra Clare, Clockwork Princess Clockwork princess finally answers all the questions we've been dying to ask. What really is Tessa? Who she ends up with? What will happen to Jem? Do Sophie and Gideon find their happy ending? And the biggest question of all, do they finally defeat the evil Mortmain? I have to say that this book was utter perfection and I held my breath until the last page. Plenty of heartache, battles, betrayals and death, but also love, loyalty and friendship, Clockwork princess was the best book Cassie Clare ever wrote so far, with the most amazing ending possible and that includes the Epilogue. I know a lot of people think that the epilogue was unnecessary but to me it was the icing on the cake and i cried and smiled while reading it. So prepare a lot of tissues for reading this book, you will need them but in the end, every tear will be worth it. So I say goodbye to this series and it's characters and I hope I will see some of them again in City of heavenly fire.“And now I need you to do for me what I cannot do for myself. I can't believe this is the end...
Starting this book, I was so emoitonal I wanted to cry, but I got through it! After finishing it I just wanted to pick up the first book and start all over with the series. It's so sad when a good series come to an end even though you know it will happen. Especially this series... It's one of my favorites! I love all the characthers in it, the drama, the love triangle.. everything!

That end....*sobbing*
I have never cried, or not only cried but I was sobbing over the end of it. Not because it was bad.. It was just sad.
*SPOILERS* Will dying.. all the beautiful things happening on the day he died like Jem showing up and he got to die with Tessa and him by his side. Beautiful. Well done Cassandra Clare, well done.
The book was AMAZING! There were twists and turns, drama, action, stuff that would make you clutch the book out of fear and just wow. So many amazing things. So we finally find out exactly what Tessa is! And her angel. It was so awesome in the end when she changed into the angel! Thé angel in her necklace!
It will be fun now after the end to read The mortal instruments again and to really notice all of these connections like the fact that Henry invented Portals! I thought it was so cute with him and Magnus. Magnus was really into all of his inventions and everything, not something Henry got a lot, but he's such a great guy!
Then there's Will and Jem..*sigh* still bromance there and I feel so bad for Will the way he was so conflicted about his emotions, loving Tessa but not wanting to hurt Jem. Ever. And when Jem gets worse you just know it's coming like this is it. He's gonna die.
Imagine the shock when he shows up a silent brother.
And then another shock when you realize that he was in City of Lost Souls! Mind blown! After this book I just love Magnus even more! What he has done for Will and what he did for Henry, oh my god he is just so amazing! Magnus <3
I was lucky enough to get the collectors edition of the book with the family tree. I loved seeing how they all were connected to the characters in the mortal instruments. ...more

I've died and went to heaven. I have cried many times and now since I have finished this, I will recommend it to someone. The ending was unexpected, especially the epilogue but I loved it nonetheless. This series should has won favor in my heart.

If I forget the story, I will come back to it and relive the adventure.
