This is one of those books that people seem to either love or hate, personally I loved it. It was an idea that has been written about before but I believe Cassandra Clare adds her own unique twists. I love her character Jace, (I think everyone who loves this series loves Jace) He is awesome. he is a bad boy who seems to always be in trouble, he needs no help finding it. He can be arrogant and hurtful when he is upset,but I love how Clary seems to bring out a better side of him. His witty come ba ...more

The first time I heard about this book I didn't really feel like reading it someday. Actually, I thought I'd not read it at all, like never. I don't know why. But then, after months, the story plot suddenly caught me, literally. When I saw, I was looking forward to start this series, to have it. I needed to have and enjoy it. The reviews I've read after I start blogging make this excitement grows.

Before, the first time i read this book I had accidently read a spoiler *gasp*. It ruined my perspective of the book, and I kind of hated it. Then I read it agian (after months of it just being a book sitting around). I rediscoved the world and fell in love with it. But that was after I read COG and could understand the whole thing better. Believe me.

So, after reading that book-wreaking spoiler, I read the book anyway. And then became completly disguted by the romance. But romance aside, it was ...more

One of my favorite series ever. Jace a mysterious handsome guy and Clary, a beautiful, interesting, and hardworking girl. Then there is jealous Simon- a sweetie. All the characters are unique and interesting.
