This book deserves more than 5 stars.. Review to come!!

I am a huge fan of the Shadowhunters and loved Cassandra Clare's writing in the Infernal Devices. I read both Clockwork Angel and Clockwork Prince and they are seriously among my favorite YA books. However, City of Bones is a failure on so many levels.
Most of the plot is inconsistent with its pace, it gets too haphazard and corny at times. When there was a part that I enjoyed, most of the other times it was painful to get through. I won't say it was terrible- but it might be the worst of Cassan ...more

Wow!! City of bones was a refreshingly different book that takes you into a world full of shadow hunters, demons, werewolves, vampires and other supernatural creatures. The story was fast paced and I found it hard to put the book down. And the characters were fun loving and at times, so hilarious. Specially Jace.

great book couldn't put it down till it was done. I've now started the next in the series City of Ashes. Highly recommend this book. You have demons, vampires, werewolves, and of course the Shadowhunters.
