Definitely one of my favorite books/series ever! I can not wait to start the second book! It is beautifully written and I love that Clary is not your typical blonde model type girl and I love that Jace is sarcastic and very guarded. Although the ending left me speechless...I can't believe how the relations worked out...I'm praying its just a trick and its not true..I'm pulling for Clary and Jace if it is a trick..overall I would recommend this book to EVERYONE!!!!

okay, at first i thought i wasn't really going to like it but the plot was well driven . . .for me.
i know a LOT of people who love Twilight and Hunger Games (other popular series that have or will be made a movie like this book) but HATE this book. i think this book, like a lot of other popular series, is either you love it or you hate it. :)
