The story is addictive right from the start and it has a shocking, heartbreaking ending. The end of this book literally broke my heart.
On to book 2! :D

I completely enjoyed this book! I'm used to vampires, wizards, werewolves and the like, but this is a completely new imagining of them. It is an extreme urban fantasy. The characters are unique, and fall out of their stereotypes. Jace is the closest thing to a "bad boy" that there is in this book, but he isn't what is typically pegged with that title. He is intelligent, wise-cracking and witty. It's obvious that he truthfully starts to care about Clary. Not to mention his past...when he does let ...more
