Yay for rereads!

I still feel the same way as when I first read this book. Actually, if anything, I loved Dorian more, hated Chaol more, and got more annoyed by Celaena midway through the book. But again, the writing was fantastic and the character development for the main characters was on point! SJM does it again! I can't wait for QoS to be released!!

When it comes right down to it, I'm not a high fantasy fan, at all. So it's a pretty big deal for me to be liking this series :)
Looking forward to the third instalment in September!

My Thoughts:

To me, Crown of Midnight had a distinctly different vibe to Throne of Glass. It introduced some new characters and Celaena took on a di

I’ll admit, I was a skeptic.

Going in, I was NOT expecting this to be a five star, or even a four star read. I was really underwhelmed by Throne of Glass, and I felt like a total outlier because of it. Everyone raved about the series, so when I was at the bookstore the other day looking for a new paperback, I decided to give the series another shot. And I am SO glad I did, because just as so many bloggers promised, this series gets BETTER as it goes on. Crown of Midnight corrected almost every co

Holy. Cow. This book... I give it a complete 5 stars with no doubts in my mind. This books picked up extremely in the action department and kept my on my toes the entire time. My mind was racing, as I was slowly making sense of the mystery behind the story. As bits were revealed I literally gasped out loud at ever moment. The romance aspect hit me hard. It was wonderful and amazing and also broke my heart at some points. The magic in the story... Ah! It's slowly revealing itself and I love that ...more

Ugh sorry, changing my rating down to 4 stars. I used to love love love this book but seeing how terrible Chaol and Celaena were to Dorian, I just couldn't. They really angered me in this book, so much so that I notched a star lol I might be doing that to be petty but oh well

Loved it! Not as much as Throne of Glass but it was still amazing. I wish there were more scenes with Dorian's POV though and less of Chaol, but that's just me. I don't really like Chaol (actually pretty much dislike him co
