Can you love and hate a book at the same time? The first three books of George R. R. Martin's A SONG OF FIRE AND ICE series were phenomenal. A FEAST FOR CROWS is the fourth book in the series, and the author decided he was taking too long to write it, so he cut the book in half and published this one. Complex & wonderfully heart-wrenchingly fabulous!!!
I love the characters, almost all of them are grey, not black, not white, but grey, complex, mixture of pure & tainted. Driven by what life has made them become. Real. Simply fabulous.
How is it that I absolutely hate Cersei, yet I feel sorry for her that she is trapped in the tangled web she herself wove?
