This is the third book in the series A Song of Ice and Fire that I lovingly call the Game of Thrones series. That is the name of the first book and it is the primary theme of the book. I will say upfront, this one was the best. Because I was prepared through spoilers to see many of the characters I both love and hated "put to the sword', "put to the flame", and "put to the noose".
