Eeek! This was such a sweet romance! The author had me on pins and needles until the very end! It's a friends to lovers story with a twist! I really enjoyed Mia's writing and there were a couple of twists in there that I did NOT see coming which kept things interesting. Let me start out by saying this- Kent Plack did not make a good first impression on me, at all. I was wondering how I was ever going to get through this book if he was the hero. Considering this was my first Mia Kayla book I didn't know what to expect- would she be able to turn things around and make me care about this character??? Throw in the love triangle potential and to say I was a little leery when I started Marry Me for Money is an understatement.

Let me just say, the book is as gorgeous as the cover. What a wonderful read! Beth, the heroine, is down to earth and relatable. I fell in love with her from the start. I don’t want to give to much away because I think it’s best to go in blind, but the hero of this story is sweet, sexy, lovable, and swoon worthy. Stay with me here because I just read this book in a day. Since I only finished reading the last page a half hour ago, it's till fresh and boggled in my mind.
First, I'll say, I could not put this book down. Mia Kayla had me glued to this page by page, taking it with me on the way to dinner with my family. Carrying it around my house, positioning it as I blow dry my hair. I had to know what was about to happen.

Mia Kayla is the queen of angst. Wow. She took what could have been a predictable plot and knocked it right off its axis. She had me panting after Kent right along with Beth. A fantastic, well-written debut.

I give this book a solid 4 stars. The writing was very good, especially for a debut novel. I'm excited to see Mia's growth in her upcoming works.

So, I have to admit, the first time I saw this book mentioned, it was referred to as MMFM, so when I read it, I was surprised, VERY surprised. LOL

It’s always interesting going back to read a debut novel after finding an author when they are several books down the road.
Marry me for Money has been lingering on my TBR for ages and I enjoyed finally getting to read it.
Bethany was a character that I liked getting to know, but some of the situations she found herself in were a bit far fetched. Her interactions with Brian and Kent were intriguing and I would have appreciated seeing things from their point of view as well.
