What a beautifully written second chance romance! I fell in love with this story of forgiveness, redemption, and of course, love. Cassie was a strong heroine, someone who was easy to relate to and root for. My heart broke for her and the things she had to endure in her life, but she did it with such grace and strength. Now, I have to admit, I didn’t love Jax in the first book in this series, The Fragile Fall. While sexy and sweet, he stood in the way of Will and Ry’s relationship many times, and

This is book two in the Undone series. I recommend you read book one first as we meet the characters in book one. I loved this book just as much as I loved book one.
This story is told in two points of view- Cassie and Jax. We read their story of how they met years ago, separated and then found each other again.

Kristy Love's Heartfelt Lies is an emotional tale of forgiveness and second chances. Sometimes a romance isn't cut and dried. Sometimes no matter how in love we are, greater forces get in the way and we become our own worst enemy. Jax and Cassie's start is a beautiful boy meets girl love affair, but when Jax abandons his true love to mask the pain and hurt of his past with lies and substance abuse, their love story comes to an end. Until, of course, they meet again years later. I really enjoyed

No one does heartbreaking angst like Kristy Love! I spent most of Fragile Fall in sweet pain, but loved every minute of it! She's done it EVEN better in Heartfelt Lies.
I wanted Jax's book for what seemed like forever. Yes, he made me mad, but he was such a good guy. In Heartfelt Lies he's still that great guy, but does all the wrong things for all the right reasons. It broke my heart watching the suffering he was going through at his own hand.

Five years later, Jax has put his life back together and wants nothing more than to be worthy of his ex-girlfriend Cassie, who broke up with him because Jax let her down and prioritized his addictions over Cassie. The book goes back and forth between the past and present while alternating POVs. The second chance romance plot and storyline is good. I had difficulty investing in the characters, though. I wasn't attached to either of them and felt indifferent towards their relationship and the ulti
