Rock the Boat is a fun, sweet contemporary romance, with an interesting storyline and likeable characters. I really enjoyed the premise of this book...a kind of a modern take on The Love Boat. (Okay, I might just be showing my age with that one!)
Lark is trying to get over a break-up, Easton is still coming to terms with a devastating loss. Lark is convinced to take this cruise by her bestfriend, while Easton, the lead singer of the "house band", is unknowingly set-up by one of his close friends. ...more

4-4.5 stars. I really liked this storyline idea. Lark Williams is going on a singles cruise with the promise of The Perfect Match with her best friend Noelle. They fill out a questionnaire that generates a match for the both of them to meet up with on this particular cruise. Lark's heart has been broken by her most recent relationship so she's not too optimistic that she will find anything beyond a potential hookup on this trip. Easton Beck, a musician for Midnight Fate, has been living on the c

I'm a fan of all Gia's books, but this is her best one. I devoured it in a day. Easton is a hot as hell, perfectly delicious, tortured rocker. There is a Lark in all of us, hurt and scared to take a chance until the perfect opportunity, or man, comes along. Rock the Boat is a steamy, flawlessly written fun read. I'm hoping we get more from Midnight Fate!

Easton is definitely a rock star!! Falling in love after someone being unfaithful to you is hard, hard. I really enjoyed the story between Lark and Easton. Wasn't so sure they would get their HEA and honestly thought Lark would go back to her ex. Easton seriously rocks, love his heart. This was a perfect read for Valentine's weekend!!

Shame on me, this is the first book I've read by Gia Riley, but it certainly won't be the last. Her first two that are even sitting on my Kindle have now been bumped to the top of my TBR! The characters in this book are written so well, and so realistically, I just want a chance to say hi. And the cruise ship setting...I'm ready to pack my bag and climb aboard right now! Loved this story :)
