As for the story...My own MOTHER called me with suggestions about how to "fix" the things I did to my characters in book 1, WHEN YOU ARE MINE. LOL. So, yeah, I know it was a lot of angst. And I recognize that we left things really...uncertain. Dangling, even. I had so many people say they hated that I made them want a scenario that went against their personal morals, but they can't wait to see where we go with this. It had my moral compass spinning, too! I think for these characters, there is no true north. We make decisions - like the one Kerris made that so many people wanted to strangle her for - that we can't just hit the undo button on.

Book 1 introduced these characters when they were not far removed from college. Not even 30. We make a lot of mistakes along the way. The 3 books together span about six years or so. There can be a lot of growth in that much time. I hope in book 2, you stand witness to Kerris growing, learning from her mistakes, and as much as she can, making things right. Whatever that is for the three of them.

It's hard to even share teasers for this book because we dive right in from where we left off and when I tease, you'll know pretty quickly what will happen! I don't want to spoil it for you, but I'll post some teasers soon.

For anyone who was waiting until book 2 came out to read book 1, you will experience the story as I wrote it originally. Books 1 and 2 were one 600-page novel that had to be broken down because of length. There was no cliffhanger and we tracked seamlessly through this journey. I can't wait for you to board this train! There is a book 3, but you don't have wait for book 3. Though it is the same world and many of the same characters, book 3 will stand on its own. DON'T READ THE SYNOPSIS FOR BOOK 3. IT IS A TOTAL SPOILER! LOL

I promise you that there are no easy routes in this story, but there are hard roads we can take to get where we need to be. Those are sometimes roads less traveled, but I think ultimately, that's the road these characters choose. ...more

Who in their right mind could not fall in love with Walsh?!? This book just reaffirmed that he is now in my top 10 book boyfriends.
This is the emotional, heart wrenching, heartfelt conclusion to Walsh and Kerris' love story. It was perfect.
If you haven't read When You Are Mine you need to stop everything and read that first! As soon as I finished that book I zipped over to Amazon to grab this one so I could finish their story, I was so anxious to see how everything was resolved.

Sometimes you read a book that while it has an ending, you know the story isn't complete. When Book 2 comes along, you have to decide if you are content with where things are or if you want to know the rest of the story.
That's kind of how I felt about When You Are Mine and Loving You Always. Part of me was worried that the angsty feel of When You Are Mine would continue into the second book and I wasn't sure I wanted more of the same, even though I enjoyed the first book.

Kennedy Ryan you rock! I seriously couldn't put this book down. Kerris and Walsh's story is such a roller coaster of emotions. I love when a story can make me laugh, cry, leave me on the edge of my seat, have me hating characters and loving them at the same time. I love Walsh Bennett!! I love a man that will fight for what he wants and not give up no matter what. I did feel sorry for Cam a little bit, but he knew what he was getting into and did it anyway to spite Walsh.
