I can't say enough good things about this book...poetic storytelling...check! Beautifully crafted writing style...check! A to-die-for leading male...check! Loved this book! The story was captivating and I fell in love with the characters.

I have to say though, I was most impressed with Ms. Henrick's writing. It's poetic, flawless, and put me in each scene--experiencing the little things, like how it feels sliding into a booth, feeling the patched vinyl stick to my legs.

I highly recommend!

What a wonderful story! I truly enjoyed each and every emotion this book pulled out of me, even when I wanted to throw my kindle across the room. I could feel the love, the anger, the deception, the longing. Oh, the longing!

This was a heartwarming story about how sometimes life just doesn't turn out how you thought it would, but in the end that can be a wonderful thing!!

The story deals with a lot of big issues remarkably well. It's an emotional tale sprinkled with love scenes and I really felt for the characters and the turmoil they had to deal with.

Ruthie's writing style is poetic and her prose just flows off the page. She is a truly gifted writer and I can't wait to see more from her! Great debut into the literar ...more

I absolutely fell in love with Allie and Jake in Twice In a Lifetime and was thrilled to spend more time with them in Home for the Holiday. Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday, the love and togetherness of a family. With any holiday there tends to be stresses but in the ends there is always love.
