3.5 stars. While Chloe and Max's relationship gets complicated because of work, their dynamic together strengthens. However, Chloe's personal life is threatened and creates worry. There's some interesting new developments in this volume that move the story along. I'm sure there's a good explanation for that ending, but will have to wait for the full scoop in the next book.

Wow! This story sucked me in right from the start. It was sweet, sexy, and downright yummy. I brought out every emotion - I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and, of course, I threw my kindle across the room once or twice. Do NOT miss out on these serials. Highly recommended!!
I need to dive into the next book. Max is giving me some serious anxiety. Her boss is driving me nuts and there's something "off" about a certain someone. Clearly I need more answers and more Max. Thank goodness Vol 4 is right around the corner.
