Wow, Miss Anne sure knows how to keep us entertained.
This book has as much drama as a latin american soap opera. Can you imagine the shock on people's faces when, in the 1840s, Miss Brontë here decided to write about a married woman leaving her -lowlife-good for nothing-trashy- husband AND on top of that ... taking their little son with her??!!! And succeeding in life?!?! AND... AND HAVING A HAPPY ENDING??!!!
