This is quite possibly the strangest experience I've ever years. At first, I really wasn't sure how I felt about this. I didn't find it boring and it wasn't a struggle to get through. I thought the writing was poetic and beautiful, but I felt no really connection to the story at all. I felt nothing for the situations and characters. I didn't care about Isserley. This book is amazing. Every line can be taken a thousand different ways. Has a lot to say about society, human nature, and the way we treat animals and each other. Also one of the weirdest books I've ever read.
