This book still slaps.

I love this book - though the writing is pretty simple, the themes really get really gritty and explore how human society is largely dependant on control tactics to benefit the wealthy at the expense of others. The first book of this series is particularly interesting to me as a study on how one person's counter-cultural actions can begin to tip the balance of power.
