Shelves: lit, dystopia
3.5? This was very hard for me to rate. In sheer emotional impact and that feeling you have to tell everyone you know to read it, it cannot come close to the original, but I'm not sure any sequel could. I also found some of the plot mechanics contrived. On the other hand, the story is still compelling, the insights into the world chilling, and the writing clear.
