What Members Thought
I read it quickly before my library loan ran out, and I was happy to read it and intrigued. But now I'm not sure how I feel. My Gilead knowledge is a little mixed up, having seen two seasons of the TV show since reading the original book, and knowing that the TV show diverges from the Atwood canon.
I think there were a lot of clever details and allusions and callbacks in this book, but they didn't all go anywhere. And the ending was simplified and kind of predictable and left me wanting somethin ...more
