A fiction based around the lost years of Jesus (aka Joshua), written by the satirical Christopher Moore - this could have been far more blasphemous than it was.
Some have written that this book is 'poignant and an instant classic'.... while not precisely inaccurate, that type of statement is not very telling to the type of book this is. I loved this book. I laughed, audibly, in public spaces. Yes some of the jokes are obvious but I still laughed. Highly recommend it.
Funniest book I've ever read. It you're a fan of Life of Brian, you will probably love it.
