Ayn Rand inspires feelings of revulsion in many, but for me, I feel inspired to gratitude.
As some background, I've always been a people pleaser, but for as much as I've gained through this tendency, a knawing undercurrent of doubt has always plagued me. The feeling that I wasn't good enough or popular enough. As such, I've admired those who've seemed confident and sure of themselves from afar.
